Kansas Asphalt Green Initiatives

Asphalt is America's most recycled product

Asphalt is recyclableAsphalt pavement, the most widely reused construction material in the world, is 100% recyclable. At Kansas Asphalt, we're laying the groundwork for more environmentally responsible paving. While any construction project will affect the natural setting, at Kansas Asphalt we take steps to be good stewards in every aspect of our work. Our processes are designed to be energy efficient. We use products that are created locally as often as possible to reduce excessive shipping, and many of these products contain recycled material. Through these efforts, Kansas Asphalt is serving our clients in environmentally friendly and sustainable ways.

The millings from this lot aren't going to waste. They will be returned to the plant and recycled into new asphalt.  Natural resources were preserved with this new pavement, as recycled asphalt was used in this project. Kansas Asphalt believes in sustainable paving practices. We owe it to the planet, to our customers and to generations to come.
