At Kansas Asphalt, we are a proud supporter of organizations that work to strengthen our communities and their well-being. Through the efforts of our monetary contributions and passionate team member volunteers, we share our success within our communities by giving back to nonprofits that address community issues and needs.
Today, we continuously seek ways to increase our support as we discover new ways to help. To assist in meeting our biggest challenges, our corporate giving supports our focus areas of health and education, among other initiatives.
We currently support:
Our team holds drives to collect and donate personal care items, clothing and childcare items to families in need served by this nonprofit that provides domestic violence programs and resources. Kansas Asphalt team members also help provide maintenance and repair of safe havens utilized by this organization.
Our team at Kansas Asphalt has been personally touched by the challenges faced by people with breast cancer. Every year, we support breast cancer research and each October, Kansas Asphalt changes its colors from the normal green to pink in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Each year, Kansas Asphalt employees volunteer to repair homes for veterans as part of The Home Depot Foundation's efforts to create housing for the most critically injured veterans and to provide safe places for veterans to call home.
Kansas Asphalt employees volunteer hundreds of hours to local Habitat for Humanity organizations to help families in our communities build and obtain a place they can call home.
By partnering with universities, corporations and philanthropists, the ICSC Foundation annually provides 115 scholarships and fellowships to undergraduates, graduates and rising professionals. These scholarships provide critical tuition assistance, mentoring and opportunities to attend key ICSC conferences, such as RECon. Kansas Asphalt is proud to support these efforts.
