Does my lot need to be milled?
Milling is not recommended for all parking lots. Milling can actually adversely affect the structural integrity of a parking lot. It’s important that operators use the right equipment, and bigger is not always better, since parking lots are designed for light vehicle traffic.
KAI uses smaller specialized equipment, such as our new Wirtgen 130 CFi, to provide the best long-lasting results. We also train our mill operators in an intense 2-week course to ensure the mill is properly run and cared for, so that clients don’t see unexpected costs or delays.
